"This hotel truly lives up to its name of being Grand! It's huge and is quite exclusive but close enough to the main part of the city. It offered a free shuttle thought the day to get to Yuanshan MRT station or you can climb down from the side of the hill the hotel is located on and reach the Jiantan MRT station. This historic hotel makes you feel like you are living like a Chinese noble and yet you also feel like you're living in a museum because of its legacy with Chiang's family. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel is right next to Ximending. Everything is accessible - food and shopping are within reach. I really like the location of the hotel. The staff are very nice and the place is clean. They even helped me book a taxi when my Klook booking didn't show up. They are very helpful. If you are planning to visit Taipei, this is the best hotel stay at. "
