"We stayed here for 2 nights mid-week. The property was easy to find. There is plenty of free on-site parking. The staff were friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. Check in was a quick process (checked in online the night before). Easy to locate our room. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom could do with more of a deep clean as there was some mould from the shower. We didn't have breakfast there as the timings and cost didn't appeal to us but we did eat in the restaurant one...

"Last minute decision to stay whilst travelling from Devon to Scotland. What a wonderful, welcoming place. Food was fantastic in the pub area. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend. Will stay at The Derby Arms again. "

"The staff were great. Had a really good salad. Nice pub and restaurant area But, the room needed a good paint. Shower needs the mould cleaned off to and the worst part was the mattress Thankfully i got an extra duvet to use as a "topper" to try and get a few hours sleep in"

"A really lovely place to stay. Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully presented throughout and very comfortable and clean rooms. I had a very large walk in shower which was perfect and I genuinely couldn't fault anything from the moment I walked in, to walking out. "I have stayed here a few times and always found the property excellent. I have in the past been careful to park outside the property making sure not to use the high street which is not open to cars from 12am-6pm. I was surprised to find a parking ticket on my car this time. Not the property’s fault but nonetheless something to be aware of."
