Shitterton is a lovely quiet hamlet with lovely period, thatched cottages.Most of our time was spent in the cosy, spacious living room with a fire roaring away. "The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. "Description on site said slow cooker provided..but alas after owner chased this was an error ..we had planned many meals around using one... brought one! Couldn't find the rubbish bins as described behind the cottage..they were not there. Comfy beds..great position near beach and High Street. Very reasonable re cost."
