"Another hugely enjoyable stay at the Silverdale. It's in a perfect location for everything I want to do in Keswick. The hosts are so friendly, always welcoming, and the place is always clean, warm and cosy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I hope to be back soon. "

"We love this place. Have been there 3 times with our dogs. Walking them is so easy there is a large green area just outside or a walkway around the estate, just what you need early morning and bedtime. The staff are great they are professional courteous and friendly. Emma the manageress is a joy and works really hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. The chef also needs a shout also, the meals are top class. "

"We stayed the Lyndhurst for 6 nights. It is conveniently located and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Our room was small, but well maintained, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is on the street, but we usually were able to find a spot close by. We recommend this little gem."

"Main bed too small for us but everything else was fine "

"I received a call 24 hours before our arrival (on New Years Eve),telling me the booking cancelled due to 'gas issues' in the apartment. I was told they would arrange for Expedia to search for alternative accomodation. I was ,however,scepital about this and proceeded to try and find accomodation myself,without success at such short notice. "Loved the hotel and facilities. The Room had a wonderful view of the lake and was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant was wonderful and the food fantastic. The biggest and best part of our stay were the staff. Friendly, attentive, and helpful. A huge plus for the hotel. "

"Friendly, attentive staff. Tasty breakfast. Comfortable room, with complementary gin. Enjoyed spending time in the spa. Used our Expedia reward in the bar, relaxing in front of the fire. A great birthday getaway. Just a shame that they feel the need to charge for parking. Would certainly recommend Rothay Garden and hope to return in the future."

Great stay at a great lodge

"We had a great stay at the lodge. It was clean and comfortable with everything you needed for an easy stay. The location is remote but there are so many lovely places around to visit and some great walks and amazing scenery. We only stayed for 3nights but would have happily stayed longer and hope to return. Communication with Julie was easy, who responded quickly to a few enquiries I had. Would definitely recommend!"
