"Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...

"stayed overnight as our starting point in exploring Cotswolds; excellent location, near the train station and high street. It was just not appearing in google maps, and the address was a bit confusing but directions provided by the host was helpful. I also liked the history of the building. "

Our host, Emily, was very helpful with info about travelling to and from the town and responded to enquiries quickly. Winchcombe is a great place from which to hike and there was lots of info in the cottage about local trails. "
