"Very cute place with uniquely designed, quirky rooms. I loved it! I really appreciated all the thoughtful touches (fudge, cold milk, port, selection of teas and coffee). I needed to leave earlier than breakfast was served, so was provided with a breakfast hamper, which was absolutely wonderful! Very, very good service in the restaurant too. "

"Room exactly how advertised, bathroom was immaculate and overall room was great. Perfect location. Nice vintage feel but is clearly very well kept. The front door and room having electronic keypad with codes was very handy meaning no need to check in and easy access in and out. More than enough space for the two of us. Room was bright and airy. "Loved our stay at The Gallivant and would definitely visit again! Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which...

"The staff were very polite nd friendly. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed. There was a kettle with loads of tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. There was a shower in the bathroom . With very large towels which smelled lovely . Lots of shampoo, shower gel snd body lotion supplied. I will definitely be going back "
