"Hartford Hall is a nicely appointed hotel and pub in Northwich, situated between Chester and Manchester. My room was very comfortable with a big bed, a nice bathroom and shower, and good tea/coffee facilities including a coffee machine with pods. The downsides were the windows could do with replacing as my window wouldn't shut completely, meaning I could regularly hear the traffic going by. Thankfully there wasn't really a draft as the radiator was working well. With earplugs I slept fine but...

"We loved the location and the rooms,we had a room overlooking the River Dee. The room looked to be clean on anrrival but around the edges was full of dust and the bathroom again just needed that little extra touch. Check in was easy and friendly. Bonus was free parking. Just unfortunate the restaurant was closed (we did know about this) Overall we would stay again."

"Clean bright comfortable rooms, joining a modern well run pub but not suffering from any additional noise. Secure car park. All set in a scenic location. "

"An excellent city centre choice in an historic old coaching inn. The room was comfortable clean and the breakfast good albeit limited to an English breakfast /cereals. Great bar and choice of drinks. A really enjoyable stay and excellent staff. No parking but everything you need is within a short walk. Restaurants, market, theatre is 2 minutes walk, main shopping street 5 mins stroll. "

"Wonderful stay at the Eagle. Great staff, lovely comfy room and great breakfast. Easy walking distance to the centre of Chester, the river and the city walls. We'll definitely be coming back. "

"Very comfortable bed, room was nicely dark and peaceful too once the live band finished about 10.45pm. Only 1 working plug socket in room 10 but we coped. We would certainly stay again."
