"Absolutely loved the privacy, the conveniences, and Ms. Jenny’s gardens. It was wonderful to be surrounded by the beautiful countryside and lovely animals."

"We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. "Communication from the owners was poor right up until the day of check in. I made contact a few days before we were due to stay, to understand the process of check in. After reading my messages, they totally ignored them and we had to call the night before to make sure that our booking was actually in place. "A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes."

"I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The property was full of character, very clean and in a quiet area but within easy walking distance to all the main attractions. Check in was very straightforward. Would highly recommend. "

"Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them. "Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. "The cottage was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed to end our UK trip. We were able to rest, enjoy the sun in the garden, and recoup from our adventure, before hopping on a plane home. Our host was kind and accommodating and responded very quickly. It's a beautiful neighborhood. The only thing to note is it is quite a long walk to/from the train stations and grocery stores. You will need a car or bus to get there."

"Stayed here for a weekend with our doggy, daughter had just moved close by and was visiting. Could do with a bit of updating, I wouldn’t recommend 5 people staying here as it was cramped for us and there was just 2 of us. The second bedroom pics showed 2 single beds but it was a single bed in there with an under bed. "I really enjoyed my stay there. The actual rooms themselves were great. Super clean, lots of space. The entrance kind of looks like a prison, and was a little off-putting when I arrived. Also, it’s by a bar called the Purple Turtle. It’s LOUD! Not the music, but the people who go to the bar. It’s roust, and I had the pleasure of being woken up around 3am each day to people screaming and yelling. Bring your ear plays to drown them, and the busses that pass through there out. "

Very good wheelchair accessible. Excellent hotel.

"Welcoming and friendly staff. Gentle sized accessible room with rolling shower and dropped down handles excellent choice in the restaurant and the food was very good It’s good portions and at a reasonable costThe staff will help and attentive. The only town now was that we were not able to book a wheelchair accessible taxi to the airport."

"We stayed here because we had an early morning flight home to the States from London Heathrow. You cannot beat the location, it was a short train ride from terminal 3 and there is a covered walkway from the terminal to the hotel. Check in was fast, we ordered some food to take to the room for the night as it was around 10 p.m. when we checked in. Service was great. The room was a decent size and worked perfectly for our 1 night stay. The bed was comfy and my husband liked the pillows. "
