"This house was perfect for a group of 12 extended family visiting the area to ski, snowshoe, and explore Lake Placid. We so appreciated how well equipped and lovingly decorated the house was; and our host, Theresa, could not have been more responsive or helpful. The house is light, homey, comfortable and in a great location. Enjoy! "

"This is a great house and great property, big and private and the view is beautiful . Everything is very clean. We all loved the big mudroom in the entryway to drop our wet stuff. The fireplace inside was very cozy. The whole house is cozy. My only recommendation is to consider a queen/king bed in the basement as right now there are two twin beds and two bunk beds, which is great for kids, but not so great for adults/ couples. We will definitely book again."

"Myself, my husband, our two girls and our friends with their two boys stayed for a long weekend! It was in a great location to get to whiteface but also into Lake Placid.The house was exactly as shown if not better! Everything was beautifully decorated and cozy. The king bed and queen beds were really comfortable and none of the 4 kids said anything bad about their beds. The kids adventured on the river with some of the adults which was beautiful. We didn’t have to use the washer and drier but...

"Absolutely perfect location for what we were looking for! Beautiful view of the Lake Champlain and the house was perfect and comfortable- it had everything we needed! Peaceful and relaxing right before Christmas. "

"William's cabin was perfect for a quick ADK getaway! The home was more equipped than expected (we usually camp, so there were more amenities than we are used to having) and the location was perfect- close to hikes, Lake Placid, and easy to find. Would definitely recommend this and will hopefully return in the future!"

"Let me start by saying that the pictures do not do this lake house justice! Everything was perfect. Communication with the owners was great. The house is literally on the lake and has so much history (Including a book with the history of all area properties). We will definitely stay here again."

"The Ham Fam Lakehouse was lovely, well appointed, comfortable, and the lake view was fabulous! We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chill mornings, and the sunset view in the evenings. The lake was easily accessible and we enjoyed walking the driftwood strewn beach. We had a few minor concerns the first days, but they were immediately addressed and remedied by the management team. Great job! We thoroughly enjoyed our eight-day stay! We would definitely return another time. "

"If you're considering staying here, go ahead and do it. We had my partner's 30th birthday here with 10 friends and it was fantastic. The kitchen is great for cooking large meals, everyone had a bed, and the games were such fun. Derek is also one of the best hosts I've ever interacted with. 10/10 would stay here again and again."

"This was a great place to getaway and decompress. The owner was friendly and communicative. The property was as in the condition it was described. We had a great time and our morning routine of walking across the road to enjoy our coffee while looking out over the lake was thoroughly enjoyable. We would stay here again."
