"We had a wonderful weekend at this location! The house was beautiful inside and peaceful outside. We loved spending nights by the fire pit and playing board games in the cozy living room. Mornings on the porch were very relaxing. We can’t wait to go back!"

"We celebrated my bachelorette party with 11 of us and had an absolute BLAST! The location was so close to everything we wanted to do (shopping, dining out, and visiting wineries). The host was super responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. I would 100% recommend this VRBO to anyone wanting to enjoy Fredricksburg, but also a beautiful piece of property. The donkey was the cherry on top as he visited with us when we were coming and going from the property."

"Nice property and great location. Would be nice if the microwave could handle a bag of popcorn, but this one was ancient and underpowered. Would have been useful to have a good sponge too. "

"We hunt annually in the area and this was the perfect property for our group. Lots of space inside and out, deer crossing in the back and the most beautiful sunrise coming through the back windows. We are looking forward to next year! "

"The property was great and perfect for our family vacation. The kids enjoyed interacting with the animals and exploring the river bed. The location is close enough to Fredericksburg without being in the city. However, there was no spa/whirlpool, no satellite/cable, and no ice maker available as stated on the VRBO listing. Also, there was no wi-fi in the suite."

"My husband, our friends, and I had such a wonderful time here! We each had our own space since they stayed in the cottage which wasn't attached to the house and it was only five minutes to downtown. And all on 5 acres with total privacy. We enjoyed watching the animals in the morning (squirrels, turtles, birds, chickens, deer, sheep, cows) but there was no smell like you can get on some more rustic locations. ;) We had what we needed. "We loved gathering with our family at this beautiful and quiet farmhouse. It is perfectly set up for a crowd with great indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Lots of very thoughtful amenities! A bit outside of Fredricksburg, but we loved the trees, sunsets/sunrises, wildlife, nearness of many wineries and easy access to Albert Dancehall. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!"

"The most amazing hotel i’ve ever encountered. The hotel is near enchanted rock and every step is enchanting and breathtaking. if you are looking for relaxing experience or a spiritual experience this is definitely the place to go. The underground Grotto was amazing. "

Beautiful and Inviting!

"Hotel is beautiful and made to fit right into the feel of old downtown Fredericksburg. Staff was friendly and welcoming, really nice. Immaculate rooms. Awesome big bar, and be sure to check out the amazing sculpture right off the lobby. A couple wishes: - Although coffee is available 24 hrs on request, I would have preferred to have a coffeemaker in the room. - Room needs a mirror (preferably full length) in the bedroom area so a person can be getting ready when the bathroom is in use. We definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next time. "
