Sunrise Inn Williamstown
5/5 Excellent
"We booked tickets for the Ark Encounter and chose this hotel because it was more affordable than the other two within walking distance. With over 1,000 reviews and an 8.3/10 rating, it seemed like a solid choice. We also needed a pet-friendly place, and this hotel only charged $20—compared to the $50 and $75 rates at the others. Big win!
Yes, the hotel is older, so if you're looking for something super modern or luxurious, this might not be your spot. But it was clean, the beds were comfy, and the room smelled fresh—no weird odors. The walk-in shower was a hit, especially with my 4-year-old who thought it was the coolest thing ever.
The staff was genuinely kind, and since we were only there for about 10 hours, it was perfect for a quick, budget-friendly stay.
P.S. Don’t miss the Mexican restaurant up the hill—huge portions and amazing food!
