While there are unhoused people in this area of town, it is no more than expected for the downtown area of a major city. The hotel fires a great job securing the building. The hotel is located in an extremely walkable area of Portland. The only draw back is the room temperature is controlled by the front desk , and it seems the entire floor gets the same temperature but the front desk willingly provides additional...

"This is a collection of properties in Cannon Beach that has many options for lodging at reasonable prices. Customer service is exceptional. They sentence a welcome email a day before arrival that provided info including check in time and front desk hours. In response I mentioned that I would arrive late morning. They INVITED me to call upon arrival to see if the room was available early. I did that and was able to check in by noon instead of waiting till 4 pm."

"When we come to the beach we ONLY come to Inn at Otter Crest. This is the most beautiful and peaceful property we've ever stayed at. I love that there are a variety of room types from just a single occupancy to the entire family or friend gathering. We have stayed in almost every type of room here the offer. My favorite is still the loft with an ocean view. You gotta give this place a try"
