"What a special place! It is a rural setting, some distance from town, so a car is recommended. To see the ocean out the window and on walks, along with cows, horses and chickens was such fun! The hosts are delightful and eager to help with anything we might have needed. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely long weekend staying to celebrate a family members 60th birthday. Lovely cottage and surrounding areas, easy commutable distance to activities. All amenities thought off and lovely touch with some Halloween decorations which were enjoyed by all. Communication was amazing and the managers helped with making sure our surprise worked. "Very secluded, which I loved. Jeanne was extremely helpful and directions were spot on. Lovely old house, with touches of times gone by and all mod cons as well. Cows and chickens and a lovely garden for book reading. Horse riding in the dales was an added bonus. Thank you for letting me stay."

"We had a really enjoyable stay at Woodpecker Cottage. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property."
