"The home is in a great location for walking to Nevada City, and the hosts are very friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable about the area. They definitely improved our night with a recommendation to eat at Dakan - which was amazing! The only cons are that the mattresses are quite stiff, there are no TVs in the house - which could be great if you want to unplug - and there's not a super cozy place to just plop onto a couch and put your feet up while tucking yourself into a soft blanket. "Our host Colleen goes above and beyond. So kind and thoughtful and respectful. The horse pasture is beautiful and the ranch animals are lovingly cared for. The ranch dog, Jax is so smart and a friendly presence. Can’t say enough about this beautiful place. Some very nice welcoming touches including; scones from a local bakery, fresh farm eggs, evening bon fire, filtered water pitcher, and the king size bed is very comfortable "
