"The spa and the outdoor kitchen are awesome, really unique experience. Cool location, nicely decorated spa area, and the deck and outdoor space were great Inside however we had a couple major issues. The air conditioner was one of those standalone units, didn’t cool the place down. The bed was very uncomfortable and is in the loft, way too hot to sleep. "This house was amazing. Beautiful yard, amazing views, and located just far enough from town to have everything you need nearby and still feel a bit secluded. Bob had something cooking in the smoker which filled the yard with something delicious! Both he and Jean were a pleasure to meet and chat with a bit. All in all a great trip and awesome property!"

"Walk out the door and turn right and you can walk a ¼ mile to the Deer Creek Tribute Trail, a lovely hike. Turn left out the door and you are an easy ½ mile walk from downtown Nevada City and all its restaurants and stores. I stayed for a week and walked everywhere, never moving my car. The property is cute, clean and comfortable. The screened porch is a peaceful spot to unwind, though I was here at the wrong time of year to enjoy it properly. I hope to be back in the spring.
