"We had a beautiful stay here in Paihia. Great location, beautiful home and super relaxing. Perfect base for day trips to Russell and up to Matauri Bay. Convenient to get into town but the house and views were so comfortable after days out that we were happy to relax and regroup. Only slight negative comment is that we found the upper bunk bed not suitable for an adult (even though my son is slight build) which we had assumed it might be so kids doubled up. Otherwise perfect stay. "

"We really enjoyed staying here. Great indoor outdoor flow with spacious verandah, plenty of space for young children to play, and they enjoyed the box of toys. Good outlook, and birdsong including kiwi. Swimming beach just down the road, and good walks thrpugh bush to Russell and onto Tapeka point. Quick drive to Russell. Really recommend! "

"Such a lovely home, with a bathroom for every bedroom and a beautiful deck out front with a view of the water. The only note I have is that it’s not super clear which front entrance is which (the home is split in to 2 rentals), so we almost walked in to the wrong home. Otherwise, wonderful stay and lovely hosts!"

"This property managed to accomodate a large group of adults with a mix of couples and singles. The location was great and the property did mostly deliver. I think a bit more thought to the number of towels provided for a week of stay plus a more well equipped kitchen could have warranted a gold star rating. "

"This was a fantastic stay. We booked 6 days, however we should have booked a little longer. The peace and quiet is so wonderful. The birds were amazing. The walks and beaches were fantastic too. We all really enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you"

Only one bedroom was made available - the other bedrooms were locked. (I some times am restless and might have made use of the second bedroom - though in all fairness I didn't raise the issue.)"
