"We were super-impressed with this property. Very tastefully renovated to a high standard and furnished with period pieces in keeping with the age of the building. Everything you could possibly need was supplied, including beach towels and coffee machine. I for one will be returning sometime! Debbie is a gem and very friendly and helpful. I left a paid or sandals under the dining table and she very kindly sent them to be by courier - thanks so much Debbie!"

"The apartment was clean and had a fantastic view of the bay. About a five minute walk to the wharf and main street, keep in mind the drive way is quite steep. Super easy to catch a water taxi or get to meet up spot for tours. The hosts were very kind and accommodating to a last minute schedule change. Would absolutely stay again!"

"We spent 3 nights here to unwind a bit after a two week hiking trip of the South Island. We could not have picked a better place. It had everything we needed. Amazing views from all the rooms and we never even used the car. Walked all over, to Paihia and the ferry to Russell. Even walked to the Treaty Grounds for the tour. Kay was very welcoming when we arrived and it was so private we never saw them again. I highly recommend this property."

"Everything was fine except for the mattress which was a bit hard- could do with a topper. Very clean and comfortable. The picture shown in the advert shows the view from the top apartment so the description needs to show images of the top view and the view from the lower apart which is what we got....thinking we were applying for the top apartment view with balcony. As it was the weather was atrocious so it didn't really matter in the end."
