"Stayed here in November 2023 and the only issue then was the plug release in the bath was broken. We stayed again in the same room September 2024 and they have still not fixed the plug release I had to get a teaspoon and pry it open!! Apart from that the food is fantastic and service brilliant. Sad to see the Candal factory has gone under after 50 years. We will be back might try a different room next time. "

"The Courthouse hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bar staff were so polite and attentive end even made me Zombie cocktails which were off the menu and where the best I've had in many years. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back. "

"Plenty of off street parking at no extra charge. A little out of town but only a 20 minute walk in to Chester centre or a Ā£5 Uber. Co-op nearby for supplies. Room warm and clean. Perhaps a little more water pressure on the shower but still serviceable. Did not dine here but looked like usual pub grub on offer in any other Greene King outlet. "Very quiet location.Eventhough there was no reception ,Zack was very prompt in answering any queries.We were also allowed to to leave our cases there as our flight wasnt til evening without any charge .Room very clean and comfortable.
