"Not sure what we were going to find as the reviews are very mixed however we arrived just after 11am and we parked at the hotel very easily. We went to reception to say we had parked and the very helpful lady checked and said our room was ready so we checked in. It was a large room with a massive bed overlooking the end of the race course. It was a quiet room. We did not eat at the hotel that day but we did have breakfast which was very nice. It is not a buffet - you order and it is all brought...

"The property was ideal for our break, very clean and well kept. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful and polite. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the sauna wasn't in operation but everything else was great and as described. We travelled to Chester by train and found the public transport and taxis very reasonably priced with the local buses stopping almost outside of the hotel drive. We would have no hesitation in staying here again, a very good experience...
