"Beautiful property. Our room felt like we were near the canopy of the rain forest. Private and just natural - felt like glamping. The room was very comfortable and with modern amenities yet tucked in a rainforest. Would definitely recommend ( note: they have different levels of accommodations so please check). "

"Had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. The room was clean, quiet, roomy enough, and comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food and had a very lively atmosphere. We met lots of interesting travellers and local people at the Haast hotel, it was a rich cultural experience."

"Beautiful wooden lodges on the outskirts of the town. Friendly reception staff. Lodge was clean, spacious and had everything that you needed. Walkable distance for dining options. Good choice. Near petrol station. Close to Lake Matheson. "
