"The Hokitika Fire Station is a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, spacious, clean, complete with all the amenities we needed and wanted. We'd happily stay there again and regret only staying for one night. It is in a good location with parking just behind the building. The beach is a short walk away as is the main street with various dining, drinking and shopping options. "Check in was very easy. Rooms had allocated parking. Room was spacious and clean with all the amenities required. We decided to go to Tartare tunnels and the motel provided us with torches."
