"Overall, Wonderland Makarora is a very nice location and you will find everything you need in the lovely holiday homes. In the morning, it is quite noisy with helicopters and small planes taking off nearby and it wouldn't hurt to put a few signs up so that people can find the shower block without having to ask around."

"I had been in a car accident, totalled the car, and Ash, the manager was fantastic. She organized ways for me to get from one place to another, made a plane reservation for me, even loaded my stuff in her car to get me to my next lodging. Over the top service. "

"All the facilities that you need. Clean bedding and comfortable bed. I was in the cabin with lots of bunk beds and they were good. Kitchen and BBQ facilities were great. The views were unbelievable. Just wow! "

Walk to the pub up the road for dinner. Stop at the glow worm dell to see glow worms shine at night. The owner/host is a gem!"
