Whilst the carpets on the staircases seem a bit dated, otherwise it was a splendid stay with a cracking good breakfast! And love the peacocks strutting around the grounds!"

"When we arrived our original accommodation was no longer available due to essential work going on. Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable. Made every effort to turn situation round. "
