Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury lodge with views overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw mountain range. Lake accessible by a jetty between March and Nov only.
Set on a lovely tranquil 5 star award winning park. Ideal retreat for walking, fishing, canoeing and cycling. Nearest pub 1 mile. Ideal base to visit areas within the Lake District National Park. Keswick being 6 miles and Cockermouth 7 miles.

The lodge is exactly as described. Well equipped and spotlessly clean.We had a lovely few days despite the atrocious weather, it was lovely and warm inside the lodge.

Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible. The property was clean and had all amenities included that we would need! We will definitely be back and I am 100% recommending the lodge to my family and friends!

Great 3 nights away!
Just spent a great 3 nights away at this lodge. The lodge itself is very well presented with everything you could need. It is set in a great location with very nice views by the lake and is in an ideal for exploring the area.

We had such a lovely stay at the Bassenthwaite Lodges. The lodge was all ready with the necessities and was lovely and clean. Great location to the lake and a lovely little park on site for children. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future

Our break was over too fast
What a find, the accommodation was spotless in all areas, the location quiet and very picturesque. We wanted a quiet Christmas day this year away from everything and not an organised pub family dinner. We were not disappointed and it may change our choices for the future.We stayed for 3 nights and felt as though it was a real home from home. Even the weather was kind to us, no rain. We all agreed that we couldn't have chosen better.

First time visiting the lake district and it didnt disappoint. The area of the lodge was perfect to explore and visit different places nearby. A lovely stay
The property was exactly as described and we found it to be clean, comfortable, and beyond our expectations. The site its self was a peaceful escape away from the crowds of other parts of the lakes but still within an easy drive from Keswick. The check in process was simple and all instructions were sent prior to arrival, which was really useful.
