Plenty of bathrooms for rooms that share them. Friendly front desk. Continental breakfast, which is included, is great. If you are looking for something that feels historic and more like a B&B with charm rather than a hotel — and don’t have mobility issues — don’t stay anywhere else."

"The hotel has a slightly unusual exterior—possibly a converted building from the old Manston airfield—but don’t let that put you off. Inside, the facilities are simple, but everything is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and exceptionally accommodating. They even went out of their way to rearrange furniture to create a dog-friendly space for breakfast. A great stay if you value cleanliness and warm hospitality."
