"Our family of six (three adults, three children, including a baby) had a wonderful two week stay at this condo in Galveston. Communication with the owner was impeccable, making the booking and check-in process seamless. The condo itself was beautifully decorated, filled with thoughtful anecdotes, and stocked with extras that are often missing in other rentals—such as additional trash bags and dishwasher detergent. " I had an okay stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth. However, I found it a bit tricky to locate the actual front desk area, which could have been better marked. The hotel's location is great if you're someone who enjoys being right on the beach, but keep in mind that it's quite far from other attractions and restaurants. If you're planning to explore the city, it might not be the most convenient choice....

"I have stayed at this hotel before it was purchased by Holiday Inn. Great staff! Aesthetics are much better! However, they stopped allowing cruise parking as of 2/13/25. This was one of the main reasons I chose to stay at this location. The manager allowed us to park this one time only, which was very kind of them to make an exception. Additionally, when we tried to check in, my reservation was cancelled. Luckily they had availability so we were able to rebook. I have say I was really...

"Stayed here prior to a cruise. Very disappointed in the cost of a shuttle to the port $35 pp. we had taken a shuttle from Houston to the hotel at a cost of $26 for a much longer journey. Next time will stay closer to the port in a hotel with a free shuttle"

Holiday Inn Galveston Island, an IHG Hotel

"I have stayed at this hotel before it was purchased by Holiday Inn. Great staff! Aesthetics are much better! However, they stopped allowing cruise parking as of 2/13/25. This was one of the main reasons I chose to stay at this location. The manager allowed us to park this one time only, which was very kind of them to make an exception. Additionally, when we tried to check in, my reservation was cancelled. Luckily they had availability so we were able to rebook. I have say I was really pleased with how the staff was able to work with me on the issues we had! Very professional!"
