"The most lovely, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared guesthouse perched in the mountainside overlooking the ocean.We arrived to this beautiful casita to find perhaps the cleanest and most organized accommodations we’ve ever seen. Every aspect - from the perfectly arranged glasses, the neatly placed blankets and pillows, to the freshly picked oranges - was given incredible thought and consideration. "I actually did not stay here because the Host cancelled our reservation the day before we were supposed to check in. More specifically, she tried to push me to cancel the reservations so I'd have to eat the charges: this seems like fraud to me. She gave conflicting reasons for the cancellation, I assume at least one reason was a lie. This Host is not trustworthy. Also I am disappointed in VRBO for failing to properly vet the properties on its platform. I'm done with short-term rentals! Too hard...

The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything you need for stay. We happened to stay during a heat wave and found that it took quite awhile for the PLUG- IN AC to cool place off. The owner also requested us to turn this off while we were not in the home, texting us about it during our stay to remind us. This was a little frustrating as we booked this home...

"Carpinteria is just a special place. Paul’s tiny homes gave us a chance to experience it. Definitely read the description as there are quirks to this property. It’s two separate homes. The kitchen home has two lofts… one w/ a queen bed & one w/ a twin. The bedroom home has the bathroom. Those staying in the lofts need to go outside to get to the bathroom, but there is an exterior door directly into the bathroom. You’re on a farm, so there are animals including roosters nearby.
