"Yes we both enjoyed our stay at Somerville house..we stayed at the rear of the property with excellent views of the garden & beyond the town. The room was very good..bed very comfy & a great breakfast the next day .. The house also came with its own history of days gone by !!! Would definately go back there some time . "Amazing place, beautiful lodges, breakfast was perfect. Need a curtain in lodge Herdwick bedroom as very light early wake up call, the other lodges my friends were in had them. Basics such as towels, teabags, washing up liquid all provided, cleanliness perfect, staff friendly. Hot tub was lovely. Overall what a stunning place! "

"Very friendly and helpful staff; the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There's a nice bar and restaurant for evening meals (fish and chips is quite good). Breakfast is continental, but there is a nice variety of cereals and toast and other items. The internet was quite good, by British standards."
