"We had an amazing time! It was a wonderful quiet get away. Just what we needed to recharge. The property was wonderful, great trails in the woods, coffee in the morning on the deck watching the fog rise off the water, yoga on the dock & wine/bourbon on the deck in the evening. We're already planning our trip back in the spring. And what a wonderful place for the dogs. I've stayed at a lot or VRBO's & haven't had one as well stocked as this one or as welcoming for the pups. The kitchen had so many extras, as did the bathroom. They also provided extras for the pups too. One thing I would suggest adding would be a row of hooks (6-8) in the bathroom to hang towels on to dry or clothes/robes. As there is only one towel rack which is good for maybe 2 towels. There was also an abundance of books, puzzles, & games for rainy days which we took advantage of as our 1st day there it rained all day. There is a very large wood stove with an ample supply of wood (on the deck). We didn't get to use it as it was to warm but can imagine how nice it would be. I just can't say enough of how much we enjoyed our time there. The only other thing I would recommend is a storage cabinet at the front of the deck or on the side so that all of the life jackets, rods, oars, etc... could be stored & not take up half the deck. This way the whole deck can be used, & it doesn't impede the view from inside. It was an amazing getaway. But a later check out would be great as we could enjoy a little more time."
