"The best thing about this property was the location. It was truly ideally located to everything in Williamsburg, couldn’t have asked for a better location. The home itself was cozy and nicely updated. The pool table was a great touch and fun to have when hanging at the house, and the reclining sectional was extremely comfortable. We also appreciated the TVs being smart TVs. Overall, we’d stay here again & recommend it for others. "

"Owner lives close by. Greeted me he saw me walking down to the dock. Extremely friendly and genuine person. When I stayed it was pretty chilly but the was no lack of things to do inside. I’m pretty sure the is a game for everybody. Then the supplies to take you outside, we’ll again I think he thought it through fishing poles, kayaks (of course with safety equipment), canoe, and so much more. "This was a great place to stay. House was nice and clean, and a beautiful view of the James River. Judy was very welcoming, and open to communication, though we didn't need much during our stay. The location wasn't what I was expecting, but that's my fault, due to lack of researching. However, it's only a total 1 hour drive to Williamsburg, which includes a 20 minute ride on the ferry, which was pretty pleasant. Overall great stay."

"The house is ideally situated on the James River, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The layout of the house itself is perfect for gathering for meals and games, as well as for individuals to retreat for quiet time. The kitchen is well-stocked, with no gaps in supplies. And the homeowner is incredibly thoughtful and responsive, including dealing perfectly with the ups-and-downs of some weather issues. We are looking forward to many future stays at this property! "I have stayed at multiple houses, this one was by far the best. The house was clean, smelled amazing, and a great lay out. Communication with the owner was amazing, check in and out was seamless. Great yard for dogs. Quiet and safe neighborhood. 10/10 would stay again, thanks for having us!"

"Met up with my adult kids and their partners for a few days together. Loved the location and the space. Loved that it is dog friendly. Home has everything you need, very well stocked and functional kitchen. Wish we had more time to spend there. Highly recommend this property."
