While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was spotlessly clean, furnished beautifully, everything was there that you could possibly need. There were very special touches in place that made you feel welcome. Fresh milk and orange juice, cereals, an excellent selection of teas and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was warm and cosy. Trish was so helpful and came to my rescue with a blister plaster.
