"Can't fault this hotel, beautiful place, calm and quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a dinner and breakfast during our stay and both were very good. Staff and service spot on and I hope we get the opportunity to stay longer another time so we can try out the spa. Thank you for a really good stay."

"Stayed 2 occasions here. Perfect for the short and relaxed break with 9 years old. Good food (both dinner and breakfast) Only to improve is Water temperature of swimming pool is a little low. Visit twice and both too cold"

"Single room stay , 1 night only Single bed a generous size All very clean and comfortable Only criticism is that the pillows are very stiff and not very comfy and no pillow protection on them."

"Very attractive decor and newly done. The bathroom was the best I've yet to stay in. Comfortable bedroom with good facilities. The staff were excellent, so friendly and willing to help. Got the impression they were happy in their work. All food was extremely tasty and well sourced."

"Everything was great, two very minor things. The radiator in the bathroom was emitting more heat than a nuclear power ststion, could do with truning down a tad. Was actually to hot to stay in the bathroom with the door closed. And the broadband was very slow. But in the grand scheme of things, nothing to worry about."

"First time staying at this hotel since the makeover. The room was spacious, large comfortable bed. Good size bathroom, supplied with complementary shampoo, conditioner etc. large bathroom towels. Tea/coffee making facilities. The only negative thing for me was the pillows, too soft. "

"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow).
