"Alan & Ann were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are personable & very accommodating. The house is absolutely charming, quaint & quiet. Ann keeps the decor of the house fitting to the era it was built. It's like being back in time. So much history, many books and so much to look at throughout the house. Delicious breakfast served with unique dishes & a small homemade baked treat in the room upon arrival. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different. A true 'hidden gem"."

"Beautiful property. Comfortable mattress and bedding. Staff was warm and helpful. Great location. Breakfast could be served past 9am on the weekend to allow guests time to sleep in. We would love to stay again when in the area. "

"First time bed and breakfast experience. Can I tell you, the host Nash was wonderful. We were there for a week long Cooperstown tournament at dreams park. The house is located about 20 minutes from the park but easy to get to. We ate delicious gourmet breakfast everyday compliments of the host. Delicious coffee too! I highly recommend renting the room with beautiful view, If not , you can hang out on deck. Swim, fish etc. Thank you dealrly! "

I didn’t realize it was a shared bath but that was not a problem since I was the only one there. Perhaps I missed that in the listing. The gourmet meals they prepared for breakfast and dinner were always delicious.
