"It was a shame that we could only stay here for a few nights because we absolutely loved our stay. The property really has a classic old-world feel to it. But, it’s also very clean and our room was very spacious. The owner did a wonderful job restoring the building and is an excellent host. Highly recommend staying here. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else if I ever find myself back in Brussels again. "

"Erick (and his fluffy cats) welcomed us to his lovely home for our Christmas market break. He was an incredibly friendly host, sharing plenty of recommendations for things to do in the local area. His breakfasts are entirely homemade, with bread, yoghurt, and jams that he bakes/prepares himself. He even presses his own orange juice. "The hotel and rooms were great. This was built in 1764, so it has been remodeled a number of times. It really has a nice comfortable feel to it and the breakfast was great in the morning. It is also within walking distance to the major sites in the center of Brussels, but that is the challenging part as well. The neighborhood is known for car break ins. Do not leave anything at all in your car if you park on the street. We were fortunate to not lose anything, but a broken window. The police...
