"Nice, updated, clean house with great views on a more secluded and quiet part of the island. Sitting on the covered outdoor patio with its views and natural breeze was delightful, so much so that we ate every meal out there. The pool was also a great place to relax (views again), especially after a beach/boating day. An updated kitchen was very helpful as well. Everything worked in the house. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay on St. John’s "

"My husband and I loved our stay at Sapphire Peak 2. The space is comfortable and well decorated and maintained. Our greeter James and Beth were so accommodating and we loved the surprise welcome basket of goodies they prepared for us at check in. The views are amazing looking down on Coral Bay and in the mountains. Loved having a plunge pool to dip in to after a long day on the beaches in the sun. The villa is very conveniently located near Coral Bay beaches but also only a 15 minute drive to Cruz Bay and beaches on that side of the island. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked in several nights and enjoyed the serene surroundings. We would definitely recommend Sapphire Peak and hope to stay there again in the future."

"We enjoyed our stay and exploring St. John. We had been a little apprehensive about staying in Coral Bay, but we found it peaceful and convenient. Several local markets met our needs and a couple of restaurants were casual and had good food. The apartment was unique and the builder had taken care and pride in the design and workmanship. It was great for the two of us and we would gladly return."

"We stayed at Papaya Moon for two weeks at the beginning of March 2025 in the “Place in the Sun” suite. Simply paradise. The mountaintop views and breezes are heavenly. It is a very private location, surrounded by Sue’s beautiful gardens and the natural beauty of the island. You have your option of lots of outdoor activities – swimming, kayaking, snorkeling in turquoise waters; hiking the many trails that range from challenging to easy-going strolls. Or you can relax on the deck and gaze at sea and sky every time you look up from your book. We’d call Coral Bay the quiet side of the island, in contrast to the busier beaches closer to Cruz Bay. Coral Bay has some good places to eat and hear music, and a pottery studio/gallery/gift shop with work by local artists. Ron and Sue are wonderful hosts. It was a pleasure to meet them and learn about their experiences on St. John and obvious devotion to their island community. "Just a wonderful and comfortable place. Had all the kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils and cook wear. The view from every room was amazing ( Coral Bay). Great location to the beaches such as Trunk Bay. The pool was clean and had a ledge which you could sit in the water. Was very quiet at night and great for star gazing "
