"We’ve stayed here as a family around 10 times. Nothing but construction taking place the entire time at sail the pool side restaurant. No real waitstaff to support purchasing meals and drinks during the day, took way too long for staff. Massive fail charging us what they charged us when the amenities where less than ideal . Will not stay and pay here again."

Great hillside stay

"Excellent place for some relaxation and exploring of the island. Very good accommodations overlooking Coral Bay. The supplies are very plentiful within the kitchen and linen supplies. The cooler and beach accessories are very helpful. We used the chairs, beach towels, cooler and floaties daily. Overall, this place is great! The only drawback is that the main road down the hill does lead to a fair amount of vehicle noise at times. So it's not always peaceful and quiet. That is hard to find though on a smaller island like this."

Fabulous house, location and host!

"We’ve been to STJ many times over the years. Took another couple with us for this trip. Cannot say enough good things about the house. It was perfect for the four of us. Had everything we needed and then some. Our hosts pretty much thought of everything and were highly responsive. We had beautiful views and sunrises. Also got to enjoy beautiful starry nights. Coral Bay is the quieter side of the island which is exactly what we like. We will definitely return to Casa Yaya "

Bambooshay , St John - Secluded private villa in Coral Bay We have a GENERATOR!

Spotless and Welcoming

"Well-stocked kitchen with all the equipment you might need. Very comfortable and of course, a stellar view from the heights of this property. Access road had four very tight switchbacks that we were unable to navigate in the rain one night, despite having a jeep with 4 wheel drive. It was quite terrifying to fishtail and backslide on such a steep grade in the dark! We were also surprised to discover that we were supposed to wash the bedding and towels and clean all the dishes before we left. Disposing of the garbage maybe made sense, but the price does include a cleaning fee, after all."

Great place and view for us

"We arrived late to the island so having Elian meet us at the ferry and led us to the house was great, especially since it was dark and new to driving on the left side of the road. We loved the view! We stayed in a couple of days, which was awesome to have access to full kitchen (staples/spices extremtly limited, so pack/buy accordingly) and we explored Coral Bay, Frances Trail and Maho Bay Beach. 10 mins to each! Which was perfect. "

Great little tree house

"Perfect getaway on St. John. The property is tucked into the trees with a comfy bed and bath upstairs and well stocked kitchen downstairs. We love the coral bay side of the island and it's a quick drive to the shops and restaurants and nearby beaches. Perfect for a couple. "

The Perfect Place

"Alison sent information about the cottage as soon as we booked. It was nice having all the info up front. The cottage is beautiful in decor and the view looking down over Coral Bay is amazing. Alison stopped by shortly after we arrived to make sure we were all set. The cottage seemed to have everything you could possibly need. Especially appreciated the beach chairs and there were a few refreshments in the fridge. Would definitely stay here again. "
