"8 adults aged from 25 to 63! Chance for annual family get together. Lovely comfy house, plenty of room for us all to be together or sit quietly. Lovely garden with lots of squirrels to watch scurrying around & a nice park opposite too! Lovely stroll to the ferry and short crossing over to Gunwharf for a bit of retail therapy, lunch and boat watching! Nice dining table for evening of board games! Really comfy beds and good showers & baths! Easy to get a take away delivered and clear instructions...

"From arrival to departure we had a great stay. Our 4 year old loved the selection of toys and we certainly enjoyed the breakfast treats. Would definitely come back and recommend. "

"The property was ideal for 3 adults and visiting family, I would use the company and the property again. My only disappointment was the back garden wasn’t secure, hole into neighbours garden, so couldn’t let my sister in laws dog out unleashed and there was poo either from a stray animal or previous renter."

"Wow! what a fabulous modern and contemporary home overlooking Hamble Marina, with the village shops just a 5 minute walk away. We stayed here with friends celebrating my 60th birthday and it was such an easy and relaxed place to socialise with a fantastic kitchen, living room and large jacuzzi. All bedrooms are very comfortable, light and roomy, each with their own en suite which was great. Would definitely recommend getting a private chef in which we did one evening, that was a real treat....

The house is really beautifully kept, and makes the most of its relatively compact size. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. No parking outside (exactly as described in the property listing) but I was always able to park on a nearby road within a 1-2 minute walk maximum. "The cottage is quirky, as described but is also comfortable and attractive in an highly individual way. We spent a long (and very wet!) weekend there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We met and briefly chatted to Mandy, the owner, who is very approachable and friendly. We were visiting family in nearby Totton and the location is ideal for that but (during a break in the rain!) we took a stroll through the churchyard to the edge of Southampton Water and round to the Tide Mill and marina in Eling,...
