"Lovely home, lots of space and the backyard is very quaint. My friends and I rented this for an event happening in the area locally and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the location and overall home was. It all felt very new. My only recommendation would be to make sure if you’re from outside UK to be sure to bring your own converter adapters and note that there’s no floor length mirror (we had events to dress up for). The property manager was very quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay....

"The owner was unaware of our booking as advertised by vrbo. We arrived mid afternoon at portsmouth to attend my son's university graduation, but had no where to stay. We had to take our luggage to the ceremony and carry it to different locations during the event. My two daughters and myself had no car with us and mo extra money to pay for accomodation elsewhere, or even transport to a different property. "A wonderful space for celebrating a 50TH birthday with friends and family. Great communication with hosts. The house was clean and well presented. A little disappointed that the coffee machine was out of order after being sent instructions to read and purchasing beans. There wasn’t a welcome package as n other houses we have stayed in but Tesco soon arrived so we were able to have milk for tea as guests arrived. It was unfortunate that a hornets nest in the back meant that we could not leave...

"A really unique location in a converted boathouse right on the waterfront. When not out and about we spent a happy time just sitting watching the tide come in and out with loads of bird-life and passing cruise linsers. Right by Waitrose for emergency shopping and very short walk to restaurants"
