"Robert is a kind, fun and consummate host and we enjoyed a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. Loved the cake and tea when we arrived. We had excellent cooked breakfasts with homemade soda bread on china and silver, crystal and linen. Room had everything we could need for our stay. We even cheekily ordered a last minute celebration cake! Can’t recommend highly enough. Mark and I look forward to our next stay. "

"Our team had a very enjoyable stay whilst working nearby. The host was a fountain of knowledge who could not have done more for us. One of the party was injured and our host went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. "Our overnight stay was satisfactory in that the bedroom and shower room were clean and of good standard. We had a few problems with the heating and had to move rooms a couple of times but were provided with additional heaters and the host did her best to sort things out. We spent a cosy night. We had a bar meal which was good pub grub and good value for money. Parking at the rear was convenient. Wifi was a little hit and miss but the weather was appalling and this may have accounted for...

"The cottage is spacious, clean very nicely furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. It was warm, comfortable and very peaceful. Liz, the owner, is pleasant and helpful. A welcome basket of goodies was left for me, along with milk in the fridge - very thoughtful. It was one of the nicest holiday rentals that I've stayed in.I would have loved to stay longer and would certainly think about going back there."
