"Great hotel, friendly staff, perfect location. Only issue was I paid extra for a room with a balcony and I had to sign a waiver for them to unlock it for me. The balcony is tiny and the railing is less than 3ft (90cm) tall so I'm guessing at least one person has fallen over the side of it at some point. Other than that, had a great time!"

"Beautiful hotel with a historical feel to it. The Vault, a bar in the hotel, had great music and atmosphere, though it was a bit pricey, and we enjoyed going there for a drink at night to just enjoy the music. If i had one complaint, it would be that the painting in the room was a bit creepy…it reminded me of clowns."

"Centrally located, within a few minutes from the historical Old Town and the buzzing high street with restaurants and bars. Nice and welcoming staff, ready and willing to assist. As expected, the hotel at this time of the year was busier than normal and that must have had an impact on the room service as that was inconsistent. Apart from that, happy with the overall service and was pleased to see that they had "Rituals" shampoo and shower gel in the room, that was definitely a plus. "

"Lovely old world hotel with character a short walk from the old town. We had a lovely big room with a huge bathroom and had a great night sleep. Nice snug bar for drinks and very helpful staff especially Doina who took care of breakfast. Really felt welcome and would certainly stay here again."

"Hotel location is great, right in the old town with many bars and restaurants near by. The hotel itself is really beautiful and very nice staff with high service level. The only issue was with the aircon, which was on "winter mode" which made the rooms too warm with no option to cool it a bit. In general, its a great place to stay with very high value for money. I recommend."

"This hotel is great if you don't like large chain hotels. It is very central to the old town and other sites and near the metro station. We had a lovely room but it did get really hot. We tried to sleep with the window open but it was really noisy but just one of those things. All in all, a lovely stay."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Caro in Bucharest and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. "Place is nice, We've booked a suite on the 4th floor, Nice and peaceful, but I must say you need to have a shower curtains for the bathtub, It was absolute disaster in the bathroom without this, also a little bin in the room can be quite handy, we only had one in the bathroom. Would I stay there again.? YES I will, but please sort out the bathroom shower curtains. Staff is friendly. I'd have given 5 stars if above 2 can be sorted."
