Only hitch in the trip is they show 5 beds still on vrbo website , but 2 of the beds have been removed from home. We still made due plenty of couch space. Will be back again next year. "Our family has stayed at Collings Log House multiple times. And we keep returning. Its location is perfect, surroundings serene, the cabin just the right size for us. With multiple visits, we feel like “we’re home” when we arrive. Communication is quick between the management and ourselves when needed. "A few hiccups, code to get in didn’t work. Would have been nice to have outside water turned on. Some things like towels and washcloths stained with makeup, dingy and gray, didn’t feel clean. Heat vent in bathroom rusted from overspray of pee next to toilet. Stained dishes that cleaned up after a couple washes. Back step to deck is a significant drop, almost fell twice. Could be a better 2 step stop instead of one drop. Other than that, was a little close to the main Hwy 42 so we were a...

"We had a girls weekend that included mothers and daughters. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us. It did take a while to heat the house and we didn't have hot water for the first half of the stay but property management was very responsive and helped as much as they could. I was a little disappointed as it snowed and nothing was shoveled. We quickly retrieved a shovel and got to work. Overall i would 100% stay here again. "

"Overall very nice. Our 2nd time staying here. All appliances worked fine, no breakdowns. Things to improve upon are a couple more frying pans would have been nice. The shower curtain in the main needs replacing badly. Unfortunate we could not use the fire pit, fireplace, or have a grill to cook on. We really love the place and we will be back "

"Just what we wanted. Unfortunately we found out that Green Bay is not clear water, which is why we decided to vacation here. We ended up driving each day to Door County for the clear water. The site was remote, beautiful views, and we enjoyed the quiet along with the ammenties (fire, bags). Plenty of room for the five of us. We recommend purchasing bottled water as we did not care for the water from the faucet. Thank you for the wonderful stay!"

"This is a renovated log cabin right on Green Bay. It’s been well-cared-for, and owners have thought of several ways to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Dated but well kept

"First things first—the age of this property showed. Everything felt dated and the hallways were tired, but it was generally clean. However, I did find cobwebs above the tub and sofa. Towels/sheets were clean and felt like generic hotel linens and the bed was perfectly acceptable, so no surprises good or bad there. The shower head was a little low, but the water got hot quickly and had good pressure.The view was amazing! I'm sure it being winter helped, but I loved being able to wake up and see the frozen lake! The hot tub down the hall was very hot and clean, which was great after a day exploring the state parks nearby. At off-season rates this was a great value."

"Nice convenient location. Overall the place was nice, but very dated decor overall and in our room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were just as hard. It was very quiet, however our stay was a few days before Christmas, so I’m sure there weren’t many travelers. Would love to go back and stay there, as it was located central to shopping and dining, but because the bed was so horrible to sleep on, we will look elsewhere next time."
