"We really enjoyed our time at Starkhaus! It is an easy walk or very short drive into Sister Bay, where you can enjoy the beach, marina, restaurants, and shops. It is also an easy drive to Newport State Park, Ellison Bay, Bailey's Harbor, etc. In short, we were able to kayak, hike, see the Cana Island Lighthouse, visit the Ridges Sanctuary, etc. within only a 15-20 minute drive. "Overall very nice. Our 2nd time staying here. All appliances worked fine, no breakdowns. Things to improve upon are a couple more frying pans would have been nice. "The view was breathtaking and the beach house was perfect for our family of 5. The house was clean, organized, and well stocked with all the amenities needed. We relaxed and walked up and down the beach collecting rocks and sea glass. We also enjoyed a fish fry at the little bar/restaurant just down the road. We definitely want to come back in the summer! "We love stay here! We having been coming for several years now. They have made some nice updates within the condo suites. The only comment we have in the updated shower area, the shower head is so high up the average person isn’t even able to reach the shower hose to shower and if left on the holder the shower is spraying all over. We are able to work with it but wished it was a lower to reach. 😊"
