"This place checked all the boxes for a long weekend. “Limited mobility” friendly with bedroom and shower on main level. Loved the walk with the puppy to exercise and see wildlife and sunsets. Everything you needed, well supplied for families and out of way for quiet getaways. Would definitely return (with matches for the fire pit). "

"Gorgeous setting in the woods! Wonderful craftsmanship! You have to spend time looking around the cabin to appreciate everything it has to offer. It was extremely clean and so very comfortable! Full of amenities, stocked with kitchen and bathroom items, games, and toys. Comfy beds. Plenty warm in the middle of winter. Short drive anywhere on the peninsula. A ton of care was put into building it, take care when staying here and keep it beautiful!"

"We spent three days at this amazing property in Door County! The Hayes family was extremely accommodating and very responsive to questions prior to our stay. I would highly recommend this property! We enjoyed the central location to neighboring towns, beautifully appointed seasonal decorations, fully equipped amenities (kitchen, laundry, fully stocked game closet, indoor shuffle board table, fire pit, WiFi, basketball hoop, etc) We look forward to visiting again! "This is our second year at this property and just as pleasant. The house is maintained well and the owners were very communicative. It served as a great location to get all over Door County for our four day trip. The house is clean, we enjoyed cold mornings on the wrap-around deck with warm coffee, saw quite a few deer passing through, and played lots of family games. It’s a great place!"

"The property suited our needs wonderfully! 3 couples stayed comfortably over the weekend. Garbage can pedal was broken and there was visible dust on the walls and air vents but that didn’t affect our wonderful Door County experience. Wish it had garage access as we woke up to snow the last morning!"

"This cabin did not disappoint! Everything was sparkling clean. Host was phenomenal! There is no water in the cabin she was kind enough to bring us a jug to last us until the morning. There is misquote hanging things on the trees. They worked great. We had barley any bite. It was a very relaxing weekend. We will definitely be booking again! "

"This is an adorable little cabin right on the bay. It’s a rustic small cabin but well appointed with a full kitchen, a screened in porch a fire pit and charcoal grill and a lovely library of books! It was cozy and comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Owner Tammy was very responsive and answered all of our questions. "

"What a delight! Had a good balance of creature comforts(hear/shelter/hot tub/sauna/showers) and true camping(detached outhouse/no running water). 2 things I’d suggest is limiting the amount of scent on the linens and having a small guide to local hiking/store options. We had a blast!"

"The Idlewild cabin is a perfect and well stocked cabin for an Ice Fishing Trip to the Little Sturgeon Bay area. The game room was a nice added bonus to the weekend. The shuffle board table is in good condition. The pool table just needs a new cue ball. Otherwise the cabin was comfy and the perfect location to the area. "

"Cabin was very cute and right in the middle of the woods. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our hosts were very responsive if we had any questions. We would definitely stay ,again! Great ,trip!"

"The property was just what we needed for our visit with family nearby. Not sure how we missed that bath towels were not provided, but we had family who helped us out. Other than that, the stay was great. We would stay again! Thanks!"
