"Cozy house with all the gadgets needed for a great stay with a group. We had 6 adults and 6 kids which we piled into one room with the bunk beds. 2 kids fitting on the bottom beds as they are bigger. The bunks could do with an oil as they were quite squeaky but other than that an overall good stay. Thanks!"

"Loved staying here and waking up to that view. The horse was cute. Being pet friendly was a giant bonus and my dogs loved running around the property. Owner is super lovely. I read some people saying they had no reception but if youre with Spark the reception is excellent."

"We really our stay at this very cosy cottage. Great fire place with plenty of wood to burn. Being so near to the Raurimu Spiral for train, National Park for supplies and rock climbing and Mt Rhapehu was excellent. Our party of 10 were most comfortable. "

"We had a group of 12 people doing an Alpine Skills course. It was ideal for our group with a good sized living area and it was warm & comfortable with the fire going."

"No hot tub. Advertised with one. Pond was a bunch of over grown weeds. Photos online exterior not current"

"We had a good time in this house. It had everything needed for two families. The house is very spacious, and since we spent a lot of time inside, the children also had plenty to keep them entertained. Excellent communication with the owner of the house, who was willing to accommodate us when we were planning to stay an extra day. Highly recommended.""

"A friend and I stayed here for a ski trip and really enjoyed it. It's a great location, a very short drive from the town centre with view to the mountains on a good day. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a full day of skiing and the games room is a nice touch. "

"It was a good place to stay. Great location. Well furnished, with nice beds and a high pressure shower. However there was no firewood, and the fire pit outside was not there if I’m being picky. Overall perfect for families and much better than staying at a motel!"

"Fantastic location for a stay in National Park and to access Whakapapa ski resort. Accommodation was a home from home and the fire made all the difference. A very short, easy walk to the pub too. Book in confidence."

"Lovely stay, convenient location, heat pump, well stocked kitchen, very cute mezzanine area, perfect for the kids to be separate. Highly recommend."

"We stayed here for two nights, before and after our Tongariro Crossing trip. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and communication was straightforward. The ear plugs left on the table came in handy as the property is located next to a fairly busy road and trucks transporting cars stop and do their driver change-over next to it. Also the carpet in the room could do with a refresh as it does not smell very nice."
