"What a lovely time we had! The villa was beautiful, well presented in well kept gardens. We travelled in October and the weather was amazing, the price for the property was such good value. The pool was so inviting, especially for a morning swim, when the sun was rising. The hosts were wonderful, they communicated with us, almost immediately with any requests. The village of Brucoli is very cute, we didn’t have a car, and enjoyed walking into town, and ate at a excellent fish restaurant by...

"We can’t imagine a more wonderful villa in Sicily for our visiting family of two grandparents, married son, his wife, and two children ages 5 and 8. The nearby owner and his family were terrific. It exceeded the description and our expectatiobs."

"Great location, 15 mins walk (up some steep steps) from beautiful Ragusa Ibla. Villa is well equipped, we particularly enjoyed the pool table and bbq. Giulia was super-helpful, she even took me shopping when she realised we didn’t have a car. La Capinari restaurant only 5 min walk VERY highly recommended - best meal of our holiday."

"A very helpful and friendly host. The accommodation is in need of uprading. The external furniture was of poor quality plastic or old wood without any pads. There were no parasols. The waste disposal arrangements are inadequate. Air conditioning should be installed upstairs as a minimum. The steps up to the town are overgrown and totally unlit. This is not Lucio's fault but he should accurately describe the situation. The property has great potential. Lucio is a superb host"

"We wanted somewhere to stay that felt like Italy . The property was just that , the pictures don’t do the property justice has a very authentic Italian feel to it , and the gist was more than accommodating on so many things . This house is really worth a visit ."

"We drove from Palermo to Villa Gavetta stopping in Enna on the way over. We were in contact with Angela the owner who gave us detailed directions. The villa is secluded and a little remote, so we were organised when it came to shopping for food. The Villa itself is beautiful. very tastefully decorated, spacious, super clean and very, very well equipped. The photos do not really do justice to the reality. Our nearest neighbour was a herd of goats wearing bells which tinkled from the distance...

"All expectations met and then some. Loved the pristine pool, the fantastic view of the sea, the privacy, the wonderful natural and interesting discoveries along the 5 minute path to the sea, the private little sandy beach, etc. Beatuifully furnished, met all our needs and there were 10 of us! Loved the dinner Alessandra prepared for us. So fun! Thank you for this most memorable experience to celebrate our parents’ 60th anniversary"
