"This place was charming and the backyard was so peaceful and beautiful. We only stayed for one night (our last night before catching our plane leaving Portugal). The rooms are on the cozy size but the huge backyard patio and garden with chickens and two friendly cat more than entertained our 7 year old. Breakfast was served early and VERY delicious and varied. They were able to accommodate one of our travel companions who is gluten free. Communication with the property easy with quick responses."

"This hotel is basically a hostel and was just ok. The room we booked was on the third level and there was no air conditioning and it was very very hot. It was a short walk to our "guest house" along cobble stone streets but finding the check in counter at another location was difficult for our driver. Room was very bare bones but ok in cleanliness. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them.
