"We stayed for almost three weeks in this apartment. We had friends stay with us for one week and family for the second week. The apartment is convenient for touring Florence. We walked everywhere with our furthest walk about 30 minutes. Being in the Oltrarno was especially nice since it was a quiet respite from the crowds in the center. "The villa was constructed in the 18th century and fully renovated inside. It had 2 nice rooms with AC, living room and fully equipped kitchen. We loved having breakfast and dinner outside the villa while enjoying the view! Margherita was a great host and we appreciate her letting us to enjoy her place for few days! I highly recommend this place. It is also very well located at 12 mins by car to the Rifina train station, 40 mins to Florence and 50 mins to Chianti Classico region."

"We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly built and maintained by Carlo. It is close enough to Florence for easy day trips - a car is recommended for convenient access to the property, but there is ample free parking in a nearby town to head downtown by bus.
