"We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly built and maintained by Carlo. It is close enough to Florence for easy day trips - a car is recommended for convenient access to the property, but there is ample free parking in a nearby town to head downtown by bus. Accommodations were very comfortable, we made good use of the fridge and convection cooktop, and the views are unmatched. Carlo was kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. "After a stressful flight cancellation we arrived on a Monday afternoon and all of our stress instantly disappeared when we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated and very cosy. "This is a beautifully arranged and hosted location. It is perhaps 2 kilometers from central Florence, with a steep uphill at the end, but we walked there and back every day except the first. It's really out in the country in an apartment that is part of a big house, with its own entrance. The salon is enormous.
