We were there March 28-31st so didn't do any recreation on the lake Beds are comfortable with lovely linen.comforters. "

"We loved our visit! A group of college friends gathered for the weekend. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the living room area with couches and room to gather. We loved being near the lake. Robin was extremely helpful, kind, and quick with communication. Thank you!!!"

"6 women spent a restful and challenging weekend together in this beautiful home. Beds are comfortable. Home is beautiful and cozy. Our chef commented that this was the most comfortable kitchen she has ever worked in. For an old house, it was remarkably quiet and not drafty! May or may not be haunted…depends on who you ask. ;). Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"The Lakeside Retreat is great! Cleanliness is my highest priority and it was clean! It had everything we needed and was located on such a sweet spot. The pictures do not due is justice as the space is very functional and conducive for gathering and doing different activities. We would definitely return."

"We enjoyed the large sitting areas to sit and visit and long table to play games on. Every bed was comfortable and there was plenty of dishes. We walked to the bar Friday night for supper and everyone was very nice. Grocery store was walkable also had those Items we forgot!iteme duties things! "

"My family of six and I as well as our fur baby Frank spent an incredible five days at this property. The property is beautiful and the lake even more so. Situated just 13 minutes from anything you need in Alexandria, this lakefront property sits at the end of the road, which provides Seclusion and privacy. The garage provides plenty of recreational space and it is just a few short steps on flatland from the door to the dock. The fishing on the lake was also fantastic. Will definitely come back"

"Chris is a great host. She was so friendly and helpful. Her store next door has so many features too. It was neat to get the rundown on the place. My family stayed at the guesthouse before an early flight out of St. Cloud. It offered enough space and was perfect for the seven of us. It is also a unique property and was a rustic place. Thank you Chris!"

"What’s not to love about a well thought out A Frame Cabin?? Even though other properties were quite close by, we felt we had all the privacy we needed, but also enough friendly faces to feel welcome. Including a neighborhood dog who became best friends with our dog! The kitchen was well stocked with accessories needed, the bathroom, while small, was easily usable, the bedding was comfy and warm and there was so many late night conversations shared by the indoor and outdoor fire place. What a...
