"We enjoyed our stay here. It's a beautiful little house with almost everything you need for a lovely lakeside vacation. The fridge-freezer is smaller than your standard size, but it easily held three days' worth of food with plenty of room to spare. Unless you're trying to pack a few cases of beer in there, I feel sure that you could fit enough food for an entire week. "What a beautiful home! The kitchen provided everything we needed for making snacks and creating cocktails. The large table allowed us to gather for meals, for cards and games, and for conversation. Everyone slept well on comfortable beds. In the morning, there were plenty of bathrooms for all the ladies. When the football game came on, the living room large tv came in handy. Great place"

"We spent Labor Day weekend here. It was absolutely perfect. So relaxing to sit and read by the lake, or to take a swim. The house has everything you could need and the hosts are so kind and amazing. It was just simply perfect. Wonderful area with access to trails not too far away, and we brought our kayaks and did open water swims in the lake <3 "

"10/10 Excellent We had an amazing stay at The Lodge on Maple Island during the week of the 4th of July! The cabin’s decorations and amenities were top-notch, making us feel right at home. The game room was a huge hit with everyone, providing endless entertainment, especially when we had a rainy day. We also loved spending time on the lake, which offered beautiful views and great fishing. Scott and Kathy were fantastic hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation....

"Roomy cabin, super clean and quiet. Loved the 8 track player with tapes, it brought back fond memories. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Canoes kayaks and life vests available to use. Sadly it rained so we will have to come back to give those a try."

The only things to note were there were a couple in person check ins that were a bit surprising and we would have appreciated some heads up, particularly with small children around we wouldn’t have wanted them to come across strangers, so that’s our feedback on how to make the stay more comfy and why the one less star.
