"Das Haus liegt in einer Schlucht am Ende des Dorfes. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt, ist in dieser Lage gut aufgehoben. Allerdings müssen an der Ausstattung des Hauses dringend Erneuerungen vorgenommen werden. Sehr alte Möbel und die Räume sind ausgesprochen finster. Besonders die Küche und das Bad Bedarf einer Überholung. In der Küche findet man nur alte, minderwertige Dinge. Weder Wasserkocher noch Toaster ist vorhanden. Aufgrund der Lage am Bach und Waldrand ist man den Insekten ausgesetzt."

"We enjoyed our stay in this charming and updated farmhouse. Our host Alvaro was helpful and communicated very promptly and clearly. Some things it's important to know about the property: 1. The roads leading in are very winding, 1-lane (2-way) roads and can be challenging especially at night. You have to execute an uphill 3-point turn to get into the driveway. If you are not comfortable with this kind of driving, it's not a good fit for you. 2. Driving into Florence is pretty easy, but takes...

"It was amazing. Staff was very accommodating. Very clean and followed all covid restrictions. We ate at the Restaurant twice for dinner. The pasta and ice cream were freshly made! Best we have ever had. Definitely recommend. Very kid friendly."

"I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Castellare for two weeks with some friends and my parents. This was a trip that had to be postponed two years(!!) due to the pandemic, so it had some pretty high expectations to live up to, and it met them all. The property was so beautiful and worked very well do our group, allowing us to get privacy when needed, and come together as a group when we wanted to. We were able to easily get into Florence when we wanted, and we’re able to take day trips...

(She speaks perfect English as well) We arrived very late but she was waiting for us, explained how to reach the area. We got a welcome gift as well. "Alfonso was easily accessible for all our needs. The asthetic of modern farmhouse mixed with vintage flair was perfectly curated. There was the most beautiful homemade breakfast from the farm every morning, and dinner every night if you would like. Be sure to check your email prior to checkin as you have to book dinner 24 hours before checkin. Our email went to spam and we missed the reservation but Alfonso was so gracious to still cook us dinner with only a few hours notice. There were kittens...
