The morning of our scheduled arrival, I had to contact Vbro to file a complaint.The property was very old and grimy. The internet did not work at all - and we had people who were working remotely so had to leave to town to connect with internet. "Absolutely gorgeous and pristine lodging tucked away in the hills just 30 minutes north of Florence. Our family stayed here for a week during our wedding and they didn’t want to leave. The residence is in a secure gated entrance, the property is modern, clean and spacious, and the outside - beautiful pool, open yard, and patio for late night conversation with wine. Owner and manager were friendly and had great communication which made the overall stay even better than five stars!"

"The home is private, stately and well-maintained with over-sized rooms and stunning views of gardens, hills and downtown Florence. Mariolina is lovely and responsive to all questions and requests. The only drawback is the harrowing drive up the narrow, winding roads and steep driveway, but that can’t be helped. Once you arrive, it’s worth the climb!"

"The property is astounding. Gorgeous, large garden with a lovely pool. The house is just beautiful and perfect with 5 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. It worked really, really well for our family. Nearby on-site houseman was super helpful and made things very easy for us. It was a 15-minute walk to bus stop to Florence city center. We just loved it."

"This house/Mansion , slept the 5 guys after our Mugello track experience and the owner was incredible and was driven to make sure that we had everything we needed !!! I would go back in a heartbeat !!! It was several hundred yrs old and Meticulously maintained!!! Out of a 5 stars , I would give it 7 :-)!!!"

"This property is amazing! So quiet and serene away from the city. Visiting Florence is easy and I did it 2 times during my stay. U simply drive down the mountain about 15 min to San Lorenzo and catch 1hr train to Florence. The pool is amazing and the house has so much history. The drive up the mountain is about 15 minutes up some of it is unpaved but it is well WORTH it. Fantastic for families."

"This is a campground. We stayed in a mobile home. The mobile home was a bit grimy. They have a good restaurant, though. If you are coming in from the Via degli Dei, go around on the road. The gate on the Via degli Dei doesn’t let you in unless you call them and someone comes to open it. They do have a free shuttle to the train station. "
